Durant ces dernières années, j’ai trouvé des produits vraiment bien et j’aimerais les partager avec vous !
It can be hard to find suitable make up when your skin is very fair (or very dark for that matter) or simply finding make up that makes you look beautiful and does not give you a sick panda face. During the last years, I found some products that are really good and I’d like to share it with you !
Commençons par le commencement : le teint.
Let’s start with the beginning : the foundation.
C’est vraiment le point pour lequel j’ai eu le plus de difficulté à trouver des produits adaptés. Entre le correcteur bien trop foncé ou le fond de teint en poudre qui convenait à ma peau grasse d’ado mais plus à ma peau sèche actuelle, la route fut longue.
It is really the part where I had most difficulties to find suitable products. Between the concealer way too dark and the powder foundation that was perfect for oily skin but not for my present dry skin, the road was long.
Ma première grande découverte a été le correcteur vert. Comme beaucoup de personnes a la peau très claire, j’ai la peau qui marque et particulièrement sujette aux rougeurs. Pendant longtemps j’ai cru que la solution était d’ensevelir mes rougeurs sous une tonne d’anti-cernes, alors qu’avec une petite touche de vert, on corrige tout en douceur.
My first discovery was the green concealer. Like many people with fair skin, I have a lot of redness. For a long time I believed that the solution was to cover it up with tons of normal concealer, but with green concealer, you only need a little bit to gently correct the redness.
Une autre longue bataille fut celle du fond de teint. Longtemps adepte des fonds de teint en poudre compacte, je ne trouvais ni la couvrance ni le confort terribles. Finalement, je me suis mise au fond de teint liquide, mais trouver la bonne teinte était une autre paire de manche. Au final, même si je craignais d’avoir une mauvaise surprise, il n’y a que sur internet que j’ai trouvé des teintes assez pâle pour moi. R1 va bien pour quand j’ai bonne mine après quelques jours au soleil, et le reste du teint N1 (ivoire 🙂 ) est parfait. Une fois sur la peau, il prend une texture poudrée sans être complètement mat. Le plus : il est SPF 17 et protège un peu du soleil !
Another long battle was the one of the foundation. For a long time, I used compact powder foundation, but the coverage and the comfort were not great. Finally, I started using liquid foundation, but finding the right share was another matter. Even if I was worried I would have a bad surprise, it was only on internet that I could find some shades pale enough for me. R1 is great when I was under the sun for a few days, and the rest of the time I can use N1 (Ivory 🙂 . Once on the skin, it takes a powder texture that is really nice without being completely matt. The plus : it is SPF 17 so it protects you a little bit from the sun !
En ce qui concerne le correcteur, il était aussi difficile de trouver un produit avec une bonne texture et une bonne teinte. Pendant longtemps, j’ai utilisé les correcteurs Make Up For Ever qui sont vraiment biens et existent dans une large gamme de teintes. Le problème : le prix. J’ai décidé de tester la marque Nars. Le produit est au même prix, mais il y en a 6 fois plus que dans le petit stylo Make Up For Ever.
For the concealer, it was hard to find a product with the good texture and the good shade. For a long time I used the MUFE concealers which are great and exist in many different shades. The problem : the price. I decided to test the Nars brand. It is the same price for 6 times more product than in the small MUFE pen.
Pour faire tenir tout ça sans me transformer en pancake, j’utilise une poudre translucide. C’est vraiment bien pour améliorer la tenue du maquillage et pour éviter de briller comme un phare dans la nuit.
For everything to stay on my face without me looking like a pancake, I use a translucid powder. It is really convenient to improve the make-up holding and to avoid shining like a lighthouse in the night.
Et pour parfaire mon teint, j’utilise un peu de blush. Je suis tombée amoureuse (oui vraiment) du blush Une. Il est juste trop pratique avec son petit miroir, et la texture le rend super simple à appliquer. L’effet est assez naturel car la texture crème se fond sur la peau.
And to perfect my complexion, I use a little bit of blush. I fell in love (yes really) with the Une blush. It is so convenient with its little mirror, and the texture makes it really simple to apply on the face. The result is quite natural because the cream texture makes blends very well on the skin.
